Data Deletion Instructions
At Behexo, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of your personal information from our platform, in compliance with UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and Meta Platform requirements.
Your right to deletion: You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm completion via email.
What data will be deleted
Upon a valid deletion request, we will permanently remove:
- Your account profile and login credentials
- All leads, contacts, and CRM data you have added
- Call recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated buyer profiles
- Billing history and payment methods (except where required by UAE tax law)
- Integrations data (Meta, WhatsApp, Twilio connections)
- Support communications and notes
- Cookies and session data
How to request deletion
Method 1 — From within Behexo (fastest)
- Log in to your Behexo account
- Navigate to Settings → Account
- Scroll to Danger Zone
- Click Delete my account and all data
- Confirm your identity and click Permanently delete
Your data will be deleted within 7 days. You'll receive an email confirmation once complete.
Method 2 — By email
Send a data deletion request to info@behexo.com with the following:
- Subject line: Data Deletion Request
- Your registered email address
- Your full name
- Reason for deletion (optional but helpful for improvement)
We will verify your identity before processing. Expect a response within 3 business days and full deletion within 30 days.
Deleting data from Meta integration
If you connected your Meta (Facebook/Instagram) account to Behexo, you can revoke our access at any time:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations
- Find Behexo in the list
- Click Remove
This immediately stops Behexo from receiving new data from Meta. To also delete data we've already received, submit a deletion request using one of the methods above.
Data we may retain
In certain cases, we may retain limited data after deletion for legitimate purposes:
- Financial records: invoices and payment data retained for 5 years as required by UAE tax authorities
- Legal compliance: data required to respond to legal requests or enforce our terms
- Fraud prevention: anonymized records to prevent re-registration by banned accounts
- Backups: encrypted backups are purged on a rolling 90-day cycle
Any retained data is protected with the same security measures as active data and is accessed only when strictly necessary.
Third-party data
Deleting your Behexo account does not automatically delete data stored by our service providers (such as Stripe or Twilio) where required by their own legal obligations. You may contact them directly for their respective deletion processes.
Confirmation
Once your data is deleted, we will send a confirmation email to the address on file. This email is the official record of deletion.
